One of my priorities as your Councilmember is to ensure our communities have adequate infrastructure including streets and sidewalks, so it is my pleasure to inform you of the Palm Avenue Revitalization Plan!
This plan is a strategy to enhance the Palm Avenue corridor – making it a more live-able and sustainable environment.
$5M has been allocated to improve Palm Avenue. Enhancements include sidewalk repair and reconstruction, traffic signal modifications, street resurfacing, streetscaping and a new urban design which improves accessibility and mobility for all modes of transportation including vehicle, transit, pedestrian and bicycle travel.
Timeline
Sidewalk construction repairs along Palm Avenue from 13th Street to Hollister Street are anticipated to begin summer 2022 and are expected to be completed in 2023.
